If you so choose, The RealReal will pay your Commission on any item in Site Credit instead of in cash. Site Credit is redeemable for all purchases from The RealReal. If you choose payment of your Commission in Site Credit, the value of your Commission will be increased by five (5) percent over the cash amount. The amount of Site Credit you receive will therefore be equal to the item’s Net Selling Price multiplied by the applicable Commission Rate, and then multiplied by .05 (5%).
At any time before a Commission payment is issued, you may update your MySales page to reflect your election to receive that payment in Site Credit or in cash.
Site Credit is non-transferrable, and it does not expire. Site Credit is not generally convertible to cash. The RealReal will only redeem your Site Credit for cash if the balance of Site Credit on your account is less than $10.
If you buy an item where Site Credit is used to pay for all or some portion of the purchase price and you then return it, your refund will likewise be in the form of the cash amount and Site Credit, as applicable, used for the purchase.
