Brunello Cucinelli has been redefining the knitwear landscape since the late seventies with his sustainable business practices, humanist philosophy and dedication to craftsmanship. When Cucinelli was engaged to his future wife Federica, who owned a small clothing shop, he developed a newfound interest in knitwear. It was in Federica’s hometown of Solomeo, Italy that he decided to build his company, and focus predominantly on creating colorful cashmere pieces for women. Over the years, Cucinelli’s eponymous brand has grown to include everything from leather goods to menswear, while luxe knits continue to raise the bar with top-grade materials, relaxed silhouettes and the brand’s signature Monili beading.
