A. Lange & Söhne Watches

At the age of fifteen, Ferdinand A. Lange started a watchmaking apprenticeship with a local master in his home country of Germany. After years of training, Lange eventually opened a workshop in 1846. With generations of Langes at the helm, the company prospered until WWII, when the manufactory was destroyed and the business was expropriated. It was not until 1990 — after the fall of the Berlin Wall — that Walter Lange, Ferdinand’s great-grandson revived the company. Walter Lange’s vision for the A. Lange & Söhne renaissance was to once again create classic timepieces with a modern aesthetic. The result was the comeback of a company renowned for its craftsmanship, technical savoir-faire and effortless designs. Score your own sleek timepiece with our selection of A.
