Artist Bio

Dennis Pearson is an accomplished painter, print maker and glass artist best known for his charming fiberglass animal sculptures he calls ‘Beasties’ which decorate museums and front lawns around the world. Pearson was born in Madison, Wisconsin in 1939. He received a BFA from the Layton School of Art in Milwaukee where he won first prize for painting in the Wisconsin Painters and Sculptors competition. Today, he lives and works in New Zealand.
