The house of Christofle began crafting classics in 1830. Its founder, a Parisian jewelernamed Charles Christofle, took ownership of a small jewelry workshop, developing it further into his eponymous brand. The result was fine silver, iconic crystal and luxurious homewares. Christofle continues to use time-honored techniques, preserved by master silversmiths and artisans. Throughout the nearly two hundred years since the brand’s founding, designs have featured everything from traditional, intricate utensils and Art Nouveau lamps to crystal vases and porcelain dinner plates.
