Etro and Pucci
Two of Italy's most well-known, iconic fashion houses, Etro and Pucci both started with less than glamorous beginnings. First gaining notoriety for designing female skiwear in Switzerland in 1948, Pucci is famous for its geometric prints done in a variety of kaleidoscope colorways. Launched in the late 1960s, Etro developed its signature paisleys for fabric, leather goods and home accessories, eventually expanding to ready-to-wear in the 1990s.
